Game Development

So why is there such section in the website? Well, computer games, console games, etc are so popular nowadays. I think the game industry is a kind of a stand alone sector that different from other software industry. In addition, it's really amazing how fast the game industry is evolving. Although not a gamer myself, I'm always amazed by the continuous improvements on graphics, and game plot, etc. (How I know about these if I don't play? Well, if you also have many friends or even family members who are gamers, you will know why... ).

Game is entertainment purpose versus most other software are applications developed to solve certain problems. It would be interesting to look into the game development process, and see how different or similar is it comparing to that of other software development. Also I think it would be interesting to see where the industry is moving towards: Now, the graphic is getting more and more sophisticated, the game is like a virtual world(maybe to some gamers, it's more real than the real world...), and it's almost becoming necessary for games to have online capability. With all these advances, customers' expectation is getting higher and higher as well, so I'm really curious how the developer come up with innovative ideas that matches the consumers' need, and keep them entertained, and keep buying the games, and keep playing....

So that's why there's such a section here...Following are the information I found so far...
